Edouard finishes the Beaux Arts in Paris in 1993 and quickly signs his first short film “Petits Enfers” with French actor Vincent Elbaz. He then starts directing music videos in 1999 and collaborates with French famous bands and singers such as Louise Attaque, Tété, Mickey 3D or Jean-Louis Murat. In 2002 he signs his next short film “Je n’ai jamais tué personne” that is shortlisted in many festivals around the world. In 2004, Edouard starts his advertising career working for prestigious brands. And since then, he never stopped directing commercials with always the same enthusiasm and appetite. In 2009, he signs his third short film “¿Dónde está Kim Basinger?” and wins the Grand Prix in French most famous short films festival of Clermont-Ferrand. The film travels all around the world (Tokyo, Melbourne, Palm Springs, Edimbourg, Mexico…) and wins multiple prices in various festivals.

In 2012, Edouard made a remarkable debut in feature films with “Mariage à Mendoza”, starring his muse Philippe Rebbot, Nicolas Duvauchelle and Benjamin Biolay in a sensible road movie around Argentinian beautiful landscapes and a brotherhood rollercoaster.

In 2017, Edouard directed Gauguin: Voyage de Tahiti with Vincent Cassel and Louis Garrel, relating Paul Gauguin’s first trip to Tahiti with in his hands, the first steps of modern art in the heart of the Tahitian jungle. 

 

In 2019 he directed a very touching social comedy Temps de chien with Philippe Rebbot and Laure Calamy as the captain of a river boat on the Seine, alcoholic and recently divorced who fears losing his job and custody of his children.

 

In 2022, Edouard Deluc directed the comedy Pétaouchnok with Pio Marmaï and Philippe Rebbot, two friends who, to get by, set out to organize a fantastic ride through the mountains, for tourists in search of nature, silence and adventure.
